We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. At the time that car was made, Horch was part of a corporation called Auto Union. Auto Union was created in 1932 by merging four manufacturers: Horch, Audi, Wanderer, and DKW. The four rings referred to the four companies.
After World War II, the DKW name was revived, and cars were also made under the Auto Union name. The company was bought first by Daimler-Benz and then by Volkswagen, which dropped the DKW and Auto Union lines and started an upscale Audi line.
BTW, VW also bought NSU. Ever wondered why '80s and '90s Audis looked sort of like the NSU Ro80?
